2025 Information

Dear Pastor,

Horizon 2025 is quickly approaching, and we want to keep you informed on things that are coming up and opportunities for people in your congregation to invite their friends and families to hear the gospel and encounter Christian fellowship and service.

Community Church Service
We want to welcome you and your congregation to join us for a special Community Church Service during this year’s Horizon Music Festival. This service will be held at the Five Rocks Amphitheater on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM.

We are honored to welcome Paul Daily with Wild Horse Ministries, who will be sharing the gospel through a powerful, visual analogy using the process of breaking a horse—yes, there will be a live horse on stage! Paul has ministered in our area several times before, and his unique and gospel-focused message continues to impact many for the Kingdom.

Avery Graham will be leading us in worship as we come together to lift high the name of Jesus.
Our prayer is that this event would be more than just a service—it would be a catalyst for life transformation. We’re praying that many will come to faith in Christ for the first time and that those carrying emotional wounds or past church hurt will begin a journey toward healing.

We understand this is a significant request—to encourage your people to attend a service not led by your own team; we don’t take that lightly. We want to assure you that this service is firmly rooted in biblical truth and will not be leveraged for any one church in particular. You can read our statement of faith on our website, and if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out at info@horizonmusicfest.org. We welcome the opportunity to talk with you.

We’re asking pastors across our region to unite in vision—encouraging our congregations to invite their unsaved friends, family, and neighbors to this service and to the entire music festival. It may be the very thing that opens a door to the gospel for someone who would never set foot in a church building.
Would you consider joining us in this effort? Together, let’s pray for workers for the harvest, and for the harvest to be plentiful. (Matthew 9:37-38)

Community Service Project

One of Horizon’s goals is to give back to the community by getting many people from multiple churches to serve the various ministries in our community. In light of this, following the Sunday Community Church Service, attendees will be invited to serve the community by participating in a Community Service Project organized by HorizonServe. The 6 focus ministries this year are the Hope Center, Diaper Depot, Jeremiah House, Potter’s Wheel, 11-13 Ministries and Laundry Love. More details can be found by following the HorizonServe link.

Ministry Booths
There is an opportunity for ministries within your church to have a booth for outreach during the event.  If you have a ministry and would like to have a space reserved for them you can email Brad.  There will be no fee associated with a space for these ministries, however, they will need to be confirmed by that committee prior to a space being assigned.

Evangelism Training
Take advantage of Great Commission Alliance’s desire to train believers to be proficient in gospel literacy. A training will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM. This will be held in the Hotel 21 Conference room and is FREE to attend. Please have any interested individuals register here in advance.

Volunteers

We are in need of many volunteers for this event, you can direct anyone interested to the following link or use the promotional material slide with the QR code which directs to the same signup.  Our hope is that more people in the valley experience the benefits of serving and we see that increase in our church bodies.

Horizon Women’s Conference

The very first Horizon Women’s Conference will be announced at the festival this year. Held at the Gering Civic Center on February 7, 2026, this conference is aimed to unite women around the Gospel of Jesus and encourage women to grow in their walk with the Lord. More information can be found at horizonmusicfest.org/women.

Prayer

Lastly, we want to ask for your prayers as we navigate and coordinate this year’s festival.  We thank you for your support and look forward to what God has in store for our community this year!

Sincerely,

H2H Board
